Kenny Lindberg was appointed State Inspector of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California in June of 2024 at Orange, California.
He served as a Combat Engineer on active duty with the 54th Engineer Battalion. In March 2003, Kenny crossed into Iraq while attached to the 3rd Infantry Division. Following the military, he earned a bachelor’s in journalism and a master’s in public relations.
Kenny became an active member in March 2020, during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, when he felt he should volunteer for a cause he felt was meaningful and worthwhile. He was soon invited into the Military Order of the Cootie, and in 2023, he founded Pup Tent 66. In 2024, he was elected Grand Commander.
Kenny is a past post commander of VFW Post 2070, where he maintains his Gold Legacy Life Membership. Kenny serves as District 11 Senior Vice Commander and District Inspector. He is a Life Member of the Cooties and a Centennial Life Member of the National Home.

The most unworthy Kenny Lindberg was elected California’s Grand Seam Squirrel / Grand Commander in May of 2024 by an electorate who undoubtedly regretted their decision. Kenny achieved very little as he was moving through the chairs, putting together a few convention books, a website, and a new pup tent.
Nevertheless, a very confused electorate decided Kenny was ready to lead the Grand of California in its mission to entertain and support hospitalized veterans through good humor and fun, along with its efforts to support the VFW National Home in its endeavors.
For reference, the Grand of California has 11 pup tents (chapters). The Cooties are known to do things backwards (hence the picture and this part of the bio). They are the official invitation-only honor association of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Two former presidents, Harry S. Truman and George H. W. Bush, were Cooties.
