·       Served as a Reserved Police Officer, Oceanside Police Department, Oceanside CA, 1986 to 1988.

·       Hired as Full Time Police Officer, Oceanside Police Department, Oceanside CA, August 1988.

·       Retired from Oceanside Police Department, April 2017 at the rank of Police Sergeant. Various assignments included, Patrol Officer, Community Policing Officer, Patrol Corporal, Detective, Hostage Negotiator (FBI Academy), Patrol Sergeant, Community Policing Sergeant, Field Operations Sergeant, Acting Lieutenant, and a variety of Instructor Positions.

·       Served United States Army Reserve, September 2001 to April 2006, Deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF 1), March 2003 to March 2004. Assigned to CJTF -7, Provost Marshals’ Office, Iraq.
