Kenny Lindberg
Inspector/Grand Commander - Army

Kenny Lindberg was appointed State Inspector of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California in June of 2024 at Orange, California.
 
He served as a Combat Engineer on active duty with the 54th Engineer Battalion. In March 2003, Kenny crossed into Iraq while attached to the 3rd Infantry Division. Following the military, he earned a bachelor’s in journalism and a master’s in public relations.
 
Kenny became an active member in March 2020, during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, when he felt he should volunteer for a cause he felt was meaningful and worthwhile. He is a past post commander of VFW Post 2070, where he maintains his Gold Legacy Life Membership. Kenny serves as District 11 Senior Vice Commander and District Inspector.

The most unworthy Kenny Lindberg was elected MOC Grand Commander/GSS in May 2024. In this capacity, he leads the statewide organization in its mission to entertain and support hospitalized veterans through good humor and fun, along with its efforts to support the VFW National Home in its endeavors.
 
Kenny also represents the Grand of California as its Supreme Council Member. He is a Past Seam Squirrel and Founder of Pup Tent 66. He is a Red Star Life Member, with 2 stars, and a Centennial Life Member of the VFW National Home. 
 
The Military Order of the Cootie (MOC) is the official invitation-only honor association of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. In California, there are 11 pup tents (chapters). Two former presidents, Harry S. Truman and George H. W. Bush, were Cooties.
