Aaron Rasmussen served in Mosul Iraq 04-05, with the 426th CA BN, US Army. He completed four years of AFJROTC at Summerville High School, and joined the Army Reserves in 2000 at 17 years old as a 63B. While serving in the USAR from 2000-2013, Aaron also helped trained Sea Cadets at the Modesto Division from 2001-2003, and worked for the Army Civil Service from 2002-2013 as a Dual Status Military Technician.

Aaron has been a VFW member since October 2005. After returning from Iraq he joined his nearest VFW Post 2266, after he was medically retired he moved back to his home town where his dream began and he help bring back to life VFW Post 4748.
