Description
In conjunction with Post VFW Quilt Program picked up 15 Surfside quilts and delivered them to the VA Hospital Long Beach Blind Rehab Center. The Director of the Blind Rehab Center & the Recreation Therapist greeted us and introduced us to the veterans in the program. Each quilt was described and the veterans were able to pick their own quilts. D2 Chaplain was also in attendance (Post 9557) and helped distribute the quilts with other VFW 9934 members.
