Description
Planned membership drive at the local High School football game. Between the JV and Varsity game Post 3919 members attended an installation of a plaque honoring fallen soldiers of the Vietnam war from Analy High School. 9 Post members were available to answer questions and promote the VFW along with supporting our local Civil Air Patrol cadets. Post 3919 members were consulted in the construction and composition of the wording and insignia displayed on the plaque along with planning the ceremony. The entire audience witnessed the event as the CAP cadets marched with a color guard onto the field and then focused their attention onto the plaque. Post 3919 members formed a line and rendered a salute to the colors. This event is the one submitted in our membership and recruiting plan.
