Description
District 11 Surgeon partnered with members of VFW Post 5059 Turlock in providing direct support to Veterans residing at the VA Central California Health Care System Community Living Center in Fresno. Essential care bags containing personal hygiene items toiletries and other needed supplies were distributed to resident Veterans to promote their comfort dignity and well-being. In addition to providing material assistance the District 11 Surgeon spent quality time engaging several U.S. Marine Corps Army Navy and of course Coast Guard veterans through friendly games of chess promoting camaraderie fellowship and meaningful social interaction before the Holidays.
