Description
Donated the use of our **Large Hall** to support a Veterans Benefits Seminar hosted by the **Disabled American Veterans (DAV)**. By providing the facility at no cost the Post helped bring valuable VA benefits information and claims assistance directly to Veterans and their families in our community. The **Director of the DAV Los Angeles Office a National Service Officer and other DAV representatives** were present to answer questions explain available benefits and provide claims assistance. The Post’s support helped create an accessible community resource where Veterans and their families could receive information connect with accredited professionals and take steps toward obtaining the benefits they have earned. VFW Post 1679 continues to strengthen its role as a community resource by partnering with Veterans service organizations and providing space and support for programs that directly benefit local Veterans and their families.
