Description
While waiting for our Post kitchen order I engaged in conversations with individuals waiting and used the opportunity to promote the VFW Voice of Democracy Scholarship Program. I provided information about the program discussed eligibility and participation requirements and encouraged those with eligible high school students to share the opportunity with them. I also encouraged attendees to spread the information within their families schools and community networks to help increase student participation in the program.
