Description
Participate in Voice of the Veterans program at Redding VA Outpatient Clinic to interact with VAOC Staff including Clinic Director; Head of Primary Care nursing; Head of Specialty Care nursing; Patient Advocate and other VA staff; as well as other veterans organizations and VSOs. The purpose is to present problems veterans are experiencing and solutions including travel and temporary lodging. Providing unpaid assistance and advice to VA staff. Reporting staffing issues and responses to other veterans and to VSOs. Topics include care appointments disability issues and Stand -Down. Meetings are typically 1 hour and 1.5 hours travel time each way.
