Description
VFW Alessandro Post 8547 invited local Girl Scouts to assist during the Post's Steak Night. The young ladies served dinners to our veterans offering their time and effort in support of the Post's members. Their participation reflected a positive partnership between the Post and the local Girl Scout community and was well received by the veterans in attendance. The event strengthened ties between the Post and the surrounding community and gave the Girl Scouts an opportunity to engage directly in service to veterans. The Post extended its thanks to the Girl Scouts for their assistance.
