| Description |
| Assisted a homeless Army veteran member who came in search of an emergency shelter. Advised him to pick up his medication as well rather than getting drugs off the streets. Referred him to the Century Villages at Cabrillo which is the major veteran supportive housing hub often associated with Long Beach (not directly on the VA hospital grounds but a primary regional partner) while the VA Long Beach Healthcare System coordinates care and recently opened a 120-bed Community Living Center on its campus. Additionally I set up a verbal contract for the veteran to go to the Orange County Rescue Mission located at 1 Hope Tustin CA for an interview with the intake case manager supervisor to access fit for a the living-student veteran program for sustainable living minimum year program to get off living homeless and into a dormitory facility with faith-based curriculum with mental physical and spiritual support integrated into his daily regime. Additionally coached and reassured the veteran of his worth and value in life as God's precious child and verbally addressed him to follow up at the post on Wednesday August 26 2026. |
