Description
Two VFW members volunteered at the Marine Corps League Detachment 019 Veterans Information Booth during the Stanislaus County Fair supporting outreach to veterans active-duty service members and the public. Activities included event preparation booth setup staffing public engagement and teardown. Although hosted by the Marine Corps League the booth welcomed veterans from all branches of service and provided information on veterans' organizations military service and available resources. Volunteers spoke with veterans and community members throughout the event to encourage veteran engagement continued service and awareness of organizations dedicated to serving those who have worn the uniform.
