| Description |
| As part of Post 9148's commitment to community service I made numerous calls to the American Red Cross during the Garden Grove GKN disaster to determine how our Post could assist residents affected by the emergency.
I also spoke with District Commander Tim Ibarra regarding the possibility of opening Post 9148 as an evacuation and support center for individuals and families displaced by the disaster. These discussions focused on identifying ways our Post could provide a safe location and community resources to those in need.
Through coordination with relief agencies and district leadership Post 9148 demonstrated its willingness to serve the community during a time of crisis. While the Post was not ultimately utilized as an evacuation center our efforts reflected the spirit of volunteerism and community support that are central to our mission.
This activity highlights Post 9148's dedication to community service and our readiness to assist local residents whenever the need arises. |
