| Description |
| Post and Auxiliary held a VFW Day of Service Program. May 23 2026. It was to decorate the Wilmington Historical Cemetery in preparation for Memorial Day. Place Flags large around the entire Cemetery Fences Decorate the Veterans Graves with small flags and wreaths and clean the grounds from trash. Those that helped place the small flags on the graves were the Boy Scouts Troop and Pac 234 from San Pedro Troop 1203 from San Pedro Troop and Pac 658 from Palos Verdes and Girl Scout Troop 2225 from Wilmington and their parents and brothers and sisters also helped. Also members of the Boys and Girls Club of L.A. Harbor helped with flags and placed small wreaths on 20 of the graves that they made. Some members from the Harbor Lites Seniors also helped. Auxiliary and Post purchased Water assorted juices and assorted cookies and sweets for those that helped. Fliers were Posted around Post. Visited 2 senior groups and invited them.
