| Description |
| The Post held its Annual Community Awards Ceremony at Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning. The Post honored Police Officers from Banning and Beaumont Police Departments CHP Officer and Riverside County Sheriffs Deputy for their outstanding service to their communities. The Post also honored the Post's Teacher of the Year as well as AFJROTC Cadet Buddy Poppy Volunteers and Patriot Pen Winners. Attendees included State and National Representatives as well as Members of City Councils from Beaumont and Banning. Also in attendance were Post Commander and Auxiliary President from Perris Post 888 Auxiliary President from Moreno Valley Post 8547 as well as District 3 Auxiliary President. Over 180 people attended the event |
