On March 13 2026 one member of Ceres VFW Post 10293 assisted The Modesto American GI Forum The Ceres American Legion Post 491 the Modesto VFW Post 3199 and the Modesto American Legion Post 74 with Honor Guard Ceremonies at the San Joaquin National Cemetery. Departed Comrade Basilio ""Basil"" Amesquita Jr. US Army was provided Military Honors to include A reading of the last bugle call and three rifle volleys the Flag was folded by Regular Army and presented to the family.
