| VFW COMMUNITY SERVICE REPORT – TOYS FOR TOTS
Date: December 6 2025
Location: Ace Hardware – Eastern Madera County
Program: Toys for Tots
Description of Activity:
Members of VFW Post 8743 conducted an all-day Toys for Tots collection drive at Ace Hardware in Eastern Madera County to support local children in need during the Christmas season.
Ace Hardware partnered with our Post by matching every toy donated with a toy of equal or greater value significantly increasing the number of toys collected for children in our mountain communities.
Post 8743 members remained on site throughout the entire day collecting toys and monetary donations assisting community members and ensuring that all contributions were designated to remain within Eastern Madera County so that every local child has toys for Christmas.
This outreach reflects our Post’s commitment to caring for families veterans and children within our own community.
