Description
The Post was contacted about participating with Moon School staff in a veterans celebration recognizing our military on November 7 2025. This is an annual event timed to occur close Veterans Day. Other veterans were also invited. The invited veterans interacted with the students and had the opportunity to educate the attendees students and teachers about some of the veterans service history. The attending veterans received letters and thanks for their service from the students. The Moon School Staff did an excellent job and this event was well attended. The local newspaper had a front page article on this event.
