Description
During today’s visit to the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center I had the honor of spending time with Comrade Dennis C. Ryder a proud Vietnam-era Chopper Medic and long-time VFW member. He shared vivid memories of his service including being drafted immediately upon graduating high school and serving in high-intensity medical response roles throughout his Army career. We spoke at length about his upbringing in Torrance his current life in Culver City and the camaraderie he values through VFW Post 46. His spirit remains strong and he expressed deep appreciation for fellow veterans who continue to check in and show support. Also walked over to Domiciliary to check on and visit hospitalized veterans .
