| Description |
| VFW 10267 quartermaster David Barnes delivered the keynote address at the Steelworkers Auditorium on Veterans' Day at the request of the City of Fontana Veterans' Day celebration committee. Barnes also presented a certificate of recognition to a Fontana 6th grade student who won the Veterans' Day Essay contest. Attended by congressional members county supervisors city council members mayors veterans and community leaders the celebration featured students competing in Veterans' Day themed contests in writing poetry and art. VFW's member presentation was ""How Veterans' Day Came to Be"" and what it means to the country. |
