Description
Post hosted its annual 9-1-1 rememberance Program honoring the victims First Responders and Veterans. The American Flag was retired and replaced by the Sanger High School Cadets Honor Guard and Post Commander. Sanger Women's Club President delivered speech about the meaning of patriotism for all Americans. The members of the ladies club presented a memorial wreath to honor the fallen. The Mayor of Sanger (Post member) US Air Force(ret) spoke of where he was the day of the attack. The AMVETS rifle team saluted the fallen. The Senior Vice Commander gat a history of the Post namesake Edward Kuhlman a POW who died in a Japanese prison camp during WWII.
