Description
Post member was talking about how they were going to commit suicide other post members talked to the individual for hours and member was still saying they were going to follow through with it. We then decided the member was serious and contacted County Mental Health also contacted the County Sheriff the Sheriffs office had several members come talk to the individual. he then agreed to be seen by the EMTs and be taken to Modoc Medical for a 5150 72 hour hold. we also contacted Reno VA hospital and they sent a person up to do an evaluation. they stated that the individual should be on a 72 hour hold reevaluated and then either transported to Reno VA or released.
