| Spoke with an Army Veteran about mental health and loosing friends ensuring he knows that he isn't alone and the other avenues to take instead of the ultimate solution that would just plunge his family into turmoil. Over the coarse of the conversation found out that he was also from Bragg and we connected about that and jumping out of planes and time spent in the 82nd Airborne and how much Bragg had changed since both the overlap in our service and since. Veteran ensured me he will pick up a phone and I told him I'd check back with him in a few days. Even though I never met this Veteran before today shared experiences bring us together and we push each other to reach out and not opt for the ultimate solution to temporary problems. |
