Description
son of deceased VFW member from 1949 requested information on his fathers time in service. Since he was a member back in 1949 we had the original records with all military info. We could tell him where he severed and when. He requested a DD-214 to show his grandchildren. This was important because his father was from the Nisei Army Unit in Europe and not from unit in Japan as he thought his dad was at. We are waiting for response from the Army Archives to complete the information.
