Description
POST 1013 participated in the annual East LA Veteran Car Show & Vet Fest hosted by Veterans Affairs which took place in Commerce Ca. This event had giveaways; food music VA resources kids korner and haircuts. Our POST set up a recruiting booth with information we received donations to the POST and for the VFW Buddy Poppy program. We persuaded and invited 5 veterans who are interested in joining the VFW to our next general meeting and advised them to bring their DD-214 as proof of eligibility. We will follow up and keep in contact with these Veterans.
