Description
District Commander assisted a member of Mariposa Post 6042 with Identify Theft. His wife and him had large sums of cash coming out of their bank account. I helped him go on to the Federal Trade Commission Website to file a report and instructed him to go to the local police report and file a police report. I showed him how to go to the credit bureau (Equifax Transunion and Experian ) to file reports. I also showed him how to put a security freeze on all his accounts. I also advised him to go to social security.
