Description
Commander and Sr. Vice Commander were invited to a local church for their post-Independence Day program. Each discussed their military service time and what they did. Also explained each of the 6 service flags by order of adoption by Congress and importance of each to be displayed in order. Congregation was led in the Pledge of Allegiance and honors rendered. Question was brought up on how community. could support veterans. Explained to recognize and thank them for their service when meeting them and support them at Veterans Day parades/events etc. Well received by members of the congregation who thank them for attending.
